Minimalist print clashing and accessories
I’ll be the first to admit I’m the worst when it comes to dressing appropriately for Winter. I always forget to pick up a jacket, despite owning so many, and I’m forever forgoing tights or exposing my ankles to the cold. But then, what’s the point of looking fab if you’re gonna hide it under a coat? I’d rather be cold and chic tbh. But, if you’re a normal person with normal feelings, just style this out with a jacket yeah?

Clashing Minimalist Prints
Like every other person on the planet, I’m into the grey check prints flying around on trousers, blazers, dresses and just about every other item of clothing that print can make its way onto. I tried to order a matching blazer which looked like the same print on ASOS but arrived and literally could not have been more different (I mean it could have been pink but whatever). Moral of the story? Only buy co-ords that are sold as co-ords. Do not try to create your own. They will not match. So anyway, the blazer and black cami got ditched and I switched in this over-sized striped tee instead, to clash with the checks rather than match. Sticking to a similar colour palette definitely helps bring the look together.
Killer Minimalist Accessories
I’m not sure how it happened but I discovered Mejuri and fell in love with a pair of earrings. I’ve never been that fussed about them but the double loop style caught my eye and went straight on my to buy list. They’re a Canadian brand and shipping was actually super quick. I’ve had them in pretty much everyday since they came so they’ve definitely become a staple in my accessories wardrobe. Sticking with the monochrome vibes, I threw my La Redoute beret into the mix and my fail-safe black and white vans.
Would you work this look or cover it up with a jacket?
