OOTD; the little white dress

If there’s one thing every Spring/Summer wardrobe needs, it’s a little white dress. My latest trip to Murcia gave me the chance to test run some new pieces, including this babin’ number from Rock My Vintage, and I’ve fallen in love. When something is just so easy to wear, it makes getting up and acing the day that much easier…

Twirling around by the pool, I couldn’t help thinking this dress has cemented it’s place in my suitcase for all upcoming travels. The laser cut lace style is so beautifully done and it has a feminine vibe without being overly ‘girly’. Teaming it with a simple necklace emphasised that too. Rock My Vintage stock quite the collection of pieces inspired by different ear’s. In fact, I’ve got my eye on basically every single Gatsby inspired number, so if you’re a 1920’s kinda gal, you need to check them out.

Pulling it in at the waist with a tan belt gave the dress more shape, but it looks equally cool left to hang – I’m thinking of wearing it like that with my trusty over the knee boots. I grabbed my tan rucksack to for a day of strolling around, drinking chilled vino and basking in the sunshine.

The addition of my silver disco boots (basically the best thing to come out of Topshop in the history of ever) is a combination not everyone would go for, but I never claimed to be for everyone and I love the contrast. Finally, I added a pair of over-sized cat eye sunglasses because hello, they’re fabulous.

Love Lucinda xx
