SLEEK MIDAS TOUCH HIGHLIGHT PALETTE
* | BODY SHOP STRAWBERRY RANGE* | CROWN 15 PIECE MAKE-UP BRUSH KIT | OPI POLISH IN I THINK IN PINK | JEWELLERY BOX ACCESSORIES | PAUL MITCHELL AWAPUHI PRIMER *

Sleek makeup is a total obsession of mine. It’s super affordable but, in this case, that doesn’t mean compromising on quality. The highlight palettes are blooming gorgeous and I love all the shades in the Midas Touch compact. It pairs more traditional highlight shades with peachy tones (perfect for blending with blush) and a blue shade that not only highlights but also neutralises redness. Makeup Revolution is another of my must-have budget beauty brands. The Love a Hug lipstick is super moisturising and the loose pigments are really build-able to create your own look.

If you fancy a pamper, Body shops strawberry range smells good enough to eat, and the Paul Mitchell Awapuhi range is packed with wild ginger to give your hair some serious shine. OPI is my go-to polish brand. I’ve got about 20 different shades and I’m in LOVE with this pretty li’l pink number. Pair it with OPI topcoat for longer lasting nails.

I’m a total hoarder when it comes to make-up brushes – I have sets from Zoeva, real techniques and about 1,000 more brands – but the Crown 517 kit is the perfect investment if you’re after a proper set.  If you aren’t ready to drop £55 on new kit, the fan brush is a must have in my books and the perfect partner for the sleek palette. I’ve also featured some adorable pieces from jewellery box to finish off your Valentines look.

Fancy getting your mitts on everything featured in the post, plus a few more goodies? Click here for your chance to win.

Love Lucinda xx

  4. Hi girly, thank you so much for this beautiful giveaway that you are offering us. I just wanted to get on here real quick and say that I came across your instagram page and it automatically sparked an interest on me, let me just say I love you’re style!
Growing up being not the admirable skinny girl and till this day not having that desired “perfect body” has had a big negative impact on my life. Coming across instagram pages like yours has helped me with this insecurity I’ve always had. Ive learned so much from every single one, including yours. I’ve learned that you don’t need that “perfect body” to look beautiful, I am already beautiful and fashion is not limited, it comes in all shapes and sizes.
Continue doing what you do, you’re amazing at it. You are truly an inspiration to me.

    • Aww thank you so much Jessica! As someone who has really struggled with body confidence, it means a lot to be able to show people there is another side and you can and will love yourself without changing. I could never be skinny enough, skinny just doesn’t equal happy like so many people believe. I’m much happier now that I’m embracing my body and it’s a difficult road but just keep remembering you are a person; you deserve to be happy and feel good about yourself! xxx

  5. My Valentine’s Day treat is buying spring flowers for myself (single gal life), but if I was coupled up, I’d definitely want to make loads of effort to make dinner for them 😁

  7. Even when I am single I am in love with flowers and those are always a must for the Valentine’s day. But as it comes for make up products, you can never go wrong with red lips at those finish up every look 🙌😉

  8. HI =) My valentine’s day treat is to do something that makes me happy, like going to the spa or to a movie that I really want to see, something that really makes me happy =)
