OOTD: Pompoms and ripped jeans

Every once in a while, a piece of clothing comes along that makes people question ‘how you made it’, despite it very obviously coming from a shop and being the best thing since sliced bread. It will probably involve pompoms, a little sparkle or sequins and some bold colour choices. And of course, every single item of clothing that has caused people to react in that way ever currently resides in my wardrobe…

That reaction is actually a common occurrence in my life (remember my amaze sparkly pom pom heels??) and causes me to have less than zero purchase regrets. So when this li’l beauty popped up on ASOS, it just had to join my collection. The multi-coloured knitted pompoms are just the start. There’s multi sized sequins, neon thread and fringing, all in a chevron pattern a.k.a the most bonkers and fabulous jumper in existence.

I toned it down for the rest of the look, with my go-to high waisted skinny jeans (ASOS Ridleys, obvs) and another new addition to my collection. How beaut is that Stella bag? I’ve been dreaming of one since the Falabella style launched – my Stella dupe is one of my faves for everyday wear and now I have my ultimate weekend bag too.

To finish things off, another little quirky find of mine – the chelsea patch boots from my faaavvveee brand when it comes to footwear; Daisy Street. I often go for heeled ankle boots but these are a great alternative if you’re after flats. They’re probs the shoes I’ve worn most this Winter and I doubt that will be changing any time soon.

What do you think of the look? Love or hate the jumper?

Love Lucinda xx
