Lobster Benedict Brunch at Browns, Leeds*

Brunch is most definitely the greatest ever invention, after the sassy lady emoji ofc. There is never an occasion where brunch isn’t fabulous. Need a hangover cure? Brunch. Need a shopping break? Brunch. Need an excuse to drink Prosecco before 11am? You get the gist. AND no one will ever judge you for going straight for the sweet options, ’cause pancakes are blooming delicious. It’s a win win. If you’ve checked out my top 5 brunch spots in Leeds post, you’ll known Browns Brasserie & Bar is a firm favourite of mine and my last visit was as scrumptious as ever…
browns-brunch-leeds-review-004First up, Brown’s is a totally instagrammable (totally a word) spot for brunch. There’s so much greenery, huge windows filling the place with natural light and blush and grey tones running throughout. Another good reason to visit is the virgin mojitos – super refreshing with apple and mint. But the most important thing is the lobster and champagne brunch. Which you NEED. Right now.
The lobster eggs benedict, complete with perfectly poached eggs and silky hollandaise sauce, is a must. Paired with a glass of champagne, it’s a totally luxe weekend brunch treat and doesn’t cost a bomb, priced at £20. As we tucked in, I couldn’t help people watching – the open plan restaurant and bar with big old windows makes it the perfect spot – the perfect entertainment as you sip champagne.
If you’re feeling a little less spendy, the traditions eggs benedict is delicious too. That same silky hollandaise tops lightly toasted muffins and thick-cut marmalade and whiskey glazed ham. Everything is presented on pristine white plates and accompanied by blooming brilliant service.

So who’s up for a brunch date?

Love Lucinda xx

Browns Brasserie and Bar is on The Headrow, LS1 8TL. I was invited to taste and review the menu. All opinions are my own.
