OOTD: autumn prints

Strolling through the park on a sunny Autumn day is all well and good until you stumble in a dip hidden by the leaves… And did I mention you’re wearing heels? But, as we all know, the best thing to do is compose yourself and strut away sassily (and avoid autumn walks unless you’re wearing wellington boots). Though if you’re the stubborn type and your Instagram is calling out for yet more basic bitch snaps, golden leaves and all, then at least make sure you look abso fabulous…

OVERSIZED TWEED STYLE JACKET* | BELL SLEEVE PRINT DRESS* | LACE-UP SUEDE HEELS* | TAN LEATHER RUCKSACK | MARC JACOBS BAKER WATCH

Can we take a sec to appreciate that print and those belle sleeves? I spotted my gal Laura from A Forte for Fashion wearing this dress and immediately fell in love. The colour palette and leaf print have this season written all over them and it looks just as chic with boots and tights.

Those lace-up heels are impressively comfortable. I took them with me on my recent trip to Porto and managed to explore the city in them without moaning (okay a little moaning, but mostly just because I wanted a flat white and a pastry). My tweed-esque jacket is in the sale right now and it’s a steal. Perfect for layering, I’ve been pairing it with an oversized scarf to keep cosy AF.

I met up with my blogger bae Dei from Sunnydei for this shoot and we had an absolutely gorgeous (if a little chilly) morning, before heading to La Bottega for a caffeine fix. She was wearing an incredible piece, also from La Redoute, which you can see more snaps of on her blog.

Love Lucinda xx
