OOTD: monochrome citybreak style

After a little disappointment upon the realisation it wasn’t going to be 30 degrees during our trip to Porto (I mean, we were travelling mid-October, I’m just optimistic), I realised it would give me the chance to take some of my new fave Autumn pieces for a spin. So I packed my case full of new bits and pieces from the lovely La Redoute…

The Masculin # Feminin tee from La Redoute has been on my wishlist for far too long. It’s simple, statement and works with anything. I’ve been wearing it with my fave BooHoo bomber jacket and an a-line demin mini skirt on warmer days, then switching it up with my ASOS frill hem jeans, a shearling jacket and over-sized scarf when it’s frosty out.

The culottes are another La Redoute fave. I can’t resist anything high-waisted or oversized. Throw in the button detailing and the pleats and they may as well be labelled must-haves. TheyΒ make a fab transitional piece too.

Accessories are minimalistic, with my Stella dupe (yassss Miss Pap), black Baker watch and cat-eye sunglasses from Jeepers Peepers (but ASOS have a cheaper identical pair). My LVNDR halo necklace is dainty, simple and chic and I love my stripe headband for giving this look a little splash of colour and a nod to the french vibes of the look.

Love Lucinda xx
