OOTD: Palazzo Print Pants

I don’t know about you guys but I blooming LOVE sunshine. The second the clouds clear, I’m outside with the factor 50 (oh hello ginger). Unfortunately British weather is about as reliable as I am, a.k.a not very. So when the incredible Matt from Matt McCormick Photography asked if I wanted to join him for a shoot in the sunshine, I headed straight out to make the most of it…

BLACK CAT EYE SUNGLASSES | CHLOE FAYE DUPE BAG | CUT-OUT ANKLE BOOTS | BOW AND CHAIN CHOKER

Summer can be difficult for curvy gals, thanks to the influx of ‘beach ready bodies’ in media and advertising telling us we don’t look good in bikinis (we do) and most affordable high street stores stocking clothes that go straight up and down (what am I supposed to do with the rest of me?).  Thankfully Primark have stepped up their game once again *praise emoji time* and brought out some abso beaut pieces to suit more than just one body shape.

Wandering amongst the many pairs of flared trousers, one pair caught my attention in particular – though there were more than a few I could have happily taken home. The tie waist belt nips you in a little and creates a flattering, tummy-skimming shape. Plus the high waist gives me extra height. Someone hand me a pair of heels and a mojito and I’m ready for a holiday.

The off the shoulder tee was another Primark find. I love picking up a few basics and mixing them with statement accessories, like my Jeepers Peepers specs which quite frankly make me feel like the queen of sass! My Chloe Faye dupe from Yes Style is religiously by my side and those li’l black cut-out boots are my go to shoes right now.

So what d’ya think? Are you a fan of the look? Would you wear palazzo pants? Tell me about it!

Love Lucinda xx
