Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita review
If you’ve had a good old nosey at my What I got for Christmas post, you might recognise this gorge little collection. There was a little bit of high pitched squealing when I spotted the beautiful packaging of Charlotte Tilbury under the tree and it didn’t take me long to start testing each part of the Dolce Vita kit…
LUXURY PALETTE | CHEEK TO CHIC | FULL FAT LASHES | FELINE FLICK | LIP CHEAT | K.I.S.S.I.N.G | LIP LUSTRE | FULL DOLCE VITA KIT
Luxurious packaging + empowering quotes = absolutely fabulous, no? I adore the whole CT vibe and the Dolce Vita kit has been at the top of my wish list for an unprecedented amount of time. So far it’s been a total dream but let me break it down for you!
The Dolce Vita eye palette is a total dream. The shades are well pigmented, warm and rich in colour and easy to blend. The four shades are put together where each plays a role: prime, enhance, smoke and pop. The Cheek to Chic swish and pop blusher palette in ecstasy adds another dimension to contouring and gives you a subtle glow.
I’m yet to try to Full Fat Lashes mascara as I’ve got a Benefit Bad Gal on the go but the Feline Flick eyeliner is so fabulous, I’d half forgotten I still have another product to try! The precision felt tip makes it so easy to apply and the black doesn’t get diluted by eyeshadow – something I’ve found with a lot of other liners!
The ‘lips’ part of the package includes the Lip Cheat (most accurate name ever) lip liner in pillow talk, the K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick in Penelope Pink and the Lip Lustre lip gloss in seduction. The gloss is creamy but a little light for me, where as the lipstick is sheer perfection. My favourite part has to be the liner though. Have you ever had a ‘your lips but better’ product? Because, for me, this is it!
