OOTD: Caribbean Crochet

Fashion Friday is back (on a Saturday it would seem) and this weeks edition comes from warmer climates! If you follow me on Instagram (you can find me here) you’ll know I just got back from the Dominican Republic and 11 nights of absolute bliss. I shot a few of my favourite summer looks whilst there – think all white err’thang – and the first features a piece from my favourite accessory brand! So grab a cuppa or a cocktail (I won’t judge) and read on…Missguided crochet dress caribbean travel dreams cover

My crochet dress is from Missguided and I fell in love the second I spotted it. The arms are oddly long but otherwise it’s perfect to throw over a bikini and lounge around the pool. The scallop detail at the bottom and end of the sleeves just make it so stunning and I’m currently on the hunt for a slip to I can wear it day-to-day when the weather (hopefully) picks up. There are so many stunning white dresses on Missguided at the minute and I’m lusting after all of them!

The crochet top is a piece from LVNDR, the accessory brand run by the gorgeous Em from Em Talks that’s recently started selling clothing! Each piece is incredible and super affordable but they all sell out so grab them whilst you can. The top is super simple and perfect to throw in your beach bag – Plus it hardly takes up any room in your luggage, BONUS!

The sandals are a Primark find. I picked the up in black and white and they quickly became a holiday staple. If you’re a regular reader you’ll probably recognise the bag (I’m OBSESSED!!) as I’ve been taking it pretty much everywhere. It’s the perfect way to finish a summer look.

So what do you think of my first getaway look? Have you ever been to the Caribbean?
