OOTD: Vintage Adidas Spring Style

All set with an invite to the Adidas Supercolor launch in Leeds, the old ‘What Do I Wear‘ predicament came to bite me on the bottom! As much as I would like to be, I’m not much of a gym bunny…. There just aren’t enough hours in the day! So when it came to mixing up my style with a sporty twist, I was a little lacking in options. So say hello to a pair of Adidas trainers that are older than I am! Luckily for me, Leeds is the edgy capital of style and these oldies but goodies helped me fit right in…

My top is actually a dress that I’ve tucked into the skirt (don’t you just love multi-tasking pieces??) and it’s now in the sale! There’s a similar one here from Missguided too. As for the skirt, you’ll have to keep an eye on the Topshop website as everyone seems to love it and it’s sold out in every size! I got mine from the Tall section, despite the fact I’m only 5ft5, as Topshop are notorious for super short skirts and I knew I wanted to wear it high waisted.

I’m so happy that Watermelon clutch is back at New Look. I bought it last Summer and EVERYONE always asks where I got it. Even better, they also have a Lemon version too which I will certainly be getting my hands on (you can find the lemon version HERE). They’re perfect for injecting a little colour into your summer style! I’m totally in love with the necklace too. I’ve hardly taken it off since I worked with Primark on another look.

And the shoes? I pinched them from the back of my Mother’s wardrobe years ago and love throwing them on with jeans or clashing with pretty dresses. They look a little worn but that just adds to the charm. It’s a testament to Adidas that 22 years later, they still haven’t fallen apart!

What do you think of my look? Love or hate the idea of trainers with skirts and dresses? Are you an Adidas fan?

Love Lucinda xx
