The Curvy Beach Edit
If you live in England like me, then let’s be honest, the only bit of sunshine we’re likely to see is if we jet off to warmer climates. So I’m obliging. In four weeks time I’ll be sunning myself somewhere dreamy. I’ve already virtually packed and my ASOS basket could put me in more debt than my degree. But then it hit me… SWIMWEAR! As a serial shopper, I’m honestly amazed that I’ve managed to go this long without doing the rounds but I haven’t bought a single piece of swimwear this year. And that obviously calls for a wish list…
DAISY SWIM | WHITE BIKINI | CANDY STRIPE BIKINI | STRAPLESS SWIM | MALIBU SWIM
BLACK PLUNGE SWIM | AZTEC BIKINI | EAT SLEEP SWIM | CHINA PRINT
I’m a curvy girl, plus size by high fashion standards, so I’m drawn towards high-waisted bikinis and swim suits. Low rise bottoms just don’t suit me but everyone is different so it just depends what you’re comfortable in. I’m not normally a fan of cut out swimsuits as they tend to show of my least flattering areas but I love how the low neckline is balanced out by the ‘belt’ around that daisy swimsuit from ASOS. I’ve seen so many super deep plunging swimsuits like the black one from Missguided but the band across makes this one stand out. You can do more than sit very still and look pretty in that one (water polo, I’m looking at you) without the worry of anything ending up where it shouldn’t! New Looks Eat Sleep Tan Repeat
swimsuit pretty much sums up my plans. Just don’t forget the suncream!
I’ve been crushing on wrap around bikinis for so long. I’ve got one in black from last summer and I can’t help thinking how good a white version would look with a tan. The candy stripe bikini is mega adorable and has such a 50’s vibe that I love. The mint green and white stripe combo is a great way to make white more wearable. And okay, I admit that last bikini might have sneaked it because it reminds me of Royal Doulton china which I adore. Plus it’s cute so it deserves the spot!
