The Birthday Wishlist

A birthday is as good an excuse as any for a wish list post, especially since I haven’t done one for a while. I’m turning 22 all too soon… it’s less than a week to go and it doesn’t seem like two minutes since my last birthday. This year it’s on a Sunday which means cake for breakfast, a lazy brunch date with my other half and a sophisticated soiree with my girls, all in all a rather relaxed day.  Are you ready to fall in lust?

BAG
That adorable backpack has been at the top of my list for a while now. I adore Longchamp, everything is simple, stylish and frankly rather functional – perfect if you’re ALWAYS on the go like me. If you’re worried about it getting mucky, grab it in navy!
SUNGLASSES
I’m in desperate need of some new sunnies for my holiday and these D&G babies tick all the boxes. I love the cat eye shape and the twist on classic black (check out the link to see the amazing sides – just gorgeous).
DRESS
A birthdays should be celebrated in style and obviously, ASOS have that covered. I’ve been umm-ing and agh-ing over this stunning dress for far too long. I think it’s finally time I take the plunge, since birthdays are meant for treats and all!
PERFUME
I’m running low on all my favourites (Jimmy Choo Flash, Coco by Chanel) so it’s about time I tried something new. I love fresh, light, fruity perfumes, which is exactly how flower bomb smells.
CONTOUR KIT
Will I ever be able to write a wish list without included atleast one gem from Charlotte Tilbury? My one birthday wish would be for cheek bones like Leighton Meester and this is the closest I’m gonna get.
MACARONS
I’ve just discovered Julian Plumart aka the British version of my favourite chef (Adriano Zumbo, man of pastry inspired dreams). His online shop is coming soon which means I will be able to scoff salted caramel macarons to my hearts content but for now, I’m counting down the days till my trip to Brighton so I can get my hands on those little delights.
HOLDALL
I’ve got a few adventures planned and I’m in desperate need of a good travel bag. Worn leather just gets better with age and this absolute gem looks like it could stand more than a little wear and tear. Plus you can get everything from SCARAMANGA embossed (something I adore) so it would match my beautiful travel accessories from Aspinal.
POP FIGURE
So I bloody love Game of Thrones. I’ve already got Daenerys and Jon Snow and it’s about time I added another of my favourite characters from the show. Obviously I watched the four leaked episodes as soon as possible so now I have to wait forever until the next one. This cheeky chap might help me tide things over until then!
DESSERTS
There is nothing not good about dessert. I will quite happily eat it before anything else, though my thighs don’t appreciate it half as much as my tummy does. You can rely on Patisserie Valerie for a perfect selection everytime.
BRACELET
Have you been introduced to LVNDR yet? It’s my favourite and very affordable (the student in me says HOLLA) accessory brand, run by my gorgeous friend Em from Em Talks. This elephant bracelet needs to become part of my Summer accessory collection.

Phew, that’s it! There are lots of lovely things on this list but the best bit about birthdays is getting to spend it with the people you love, so I can’t wait for my actual birthday and to go back home home (to my parents house) and see my family.

What do you think of the items on my wish list? Anything in particular that you would love or hate to unwrap?
Let me know in the comments below!

Love Lucinda xx
